If you follow us, you’ll probably have realised that we have a soft spot for coffee and baking goods. So, obviously, finding places that offer good coffee in Friedrichshain is on top of my list right now. At first the neighbourhood may seem full of quite touristy places, but if you search a bit, you can come across quite a lot of great authentic places, and this is definitely one of them.
Tres Cabezas is no stranger to me. I’ve had a crush on their coffee since the first moment I tried it and one could say that their cakes and croissants are a key part of my diet, in fact you can often find me working in the kitchen at 19grams Chaussee, in Mitte, where I make brunches. Anyway, now that I live in the area I don’t miss any chance of stopping by Tres Cabezas. I know it may sound crazy, visiting your workplace on your days off, but that’s because you haven’t tried the peanut butter chocolate cookie sandwiches.
Anyway, you have no excuse. The quality of their coffee is enough to keep on coming back over and over again. But if you add up great customer service and a vitrine full of freshly baked yummy things, it’s almost impossible to resist.
Good coffee and yummy sweets to feel at home
From sweet breads to rich cakes, filled croissants and yummy cookies, their baking goods offer is vast enough to make everyone happy. But we would recommend you to sit down by their window and have a piece of banana bread and a filter coffee while you watch the snow melt.
